Adding Schema.org to increase your SEO and GEO visibility

Follow these simple steps to add structured data to your website in Flipsite and boost your SEO & GEO with Schema.org.

1. Open Your Page in Flipsite

Go to flipsite.io, open your site, and navigate to the page where you want to add structured data (e.g., your front page or FAQ page).

2. Add a Schema Component

  Click Add Component.

  Add the Schema component onto your page.

3. Choose the Schema Type

By default, the Schema component starts as Thing.

  Click the type selector.

  Choose the Schema.org type you want—such as Organization, LocalBusiness, FAQPage, etc.

  Use ChatGPT to find recommendations on what Schema to add to your site (TIP: Only add one schema per page)

4. Add Schema Properties

Flipsite automatically shows all valid Schema.org properties for the selected type.

  Choose the property you want (e.g., url, sameAs, address, email, etc.).

  Fill in the value or bind it to a global variable, CMS field, or collection.

5. Preview the JSON-LD

At any time you can:

• Click Preview Schema to see the generated JSON-LD

Confirm everything is structurally correct. This ensures Google, search engines, and LLMs can understand your data

6. Publish or Preview on Your Site

Once you're happy with your schema:

  Preview your page to see the Schema.org in action.

  Publish your site—Flipsite will include the structured data automatically.

7. (Optional) Add More Schemas

Common examples:

• Organization for your homepage
• FAQPage for your FAQ
