Using the canvas toolbar to measure distances, padding and spacing

Designing websites on a canvas is super powerful, as long as the tool itself ensures you create things that by default work on all screen sizes – so that you don't have to design the site twice, once for desktop and another time for mobile.

To ensure this happens, the Flipsite toolbar helps you get a quick view of your layouts and their spacing, padding, margins as well as distances between components.

In this video we look at two of the main features; 1) the ruler for measuring distances (or by using the ALT or OPTION buttons on the keyboard) and 2) the component inspector that highlights layouts with the same color as the layout's default color.
